NEW YEAR, FRESH STARTS

I can't believe it's mid January already. I've fallen off the blog wagon with the busy holiday season and then a much needed break from work, but now I'm back and excited for the new year and fresh starts. I pretty much always go to the coast to celebrate the New Year with friends. The last thing I want to do post holiday madness is be at some all night dance party drinking crappy champagne, rubbing up against sweaty drunk people, and then waking up with a gnarly hangover.. ugh.

This year we stayed at my friends beautiful house in Seaside OR while they were off visiting family. We cooked epic meals, read neglected books, played silly games, burned our "good riddance" lists in the wood stove, made postcards for friends and went on gorgeous hikes everyday. Totally lucked out with beautiful weather and mindblowing sunsets for most of the days were there. The photos above are shots from Ecola trail viewpoint, Fort Sevens and Cape Falcon trail. Man, I'll never get sick of the Oregon Coast... it's kind of magical.

It was really hard to leave and get back to reality and all that I've neglected over the past few months, but I left with a plan and lots of goals for 2014. Looking forward to changing things up this year with new designs and hopefully a revamp of the ol' website too. I'm just really grateful to have this little business which gives me the freedom to think, create and explore. I couldn't do it without you - the people that support what I do - so Thank You!
