The Creation Station

Lunasa Leather magic happens in small batches in this little nest in Portland Oregon. Garage-turned-shop, pups wagging at my feet, this is where my mind can wander and be curious. Each design begins on my cutting table, and winds through the ins and outs of sampling, emerging in its own time as the finished product. It's a gorgeous process to witness and stay curious about, although just like any creation journey, there are sometimes two steps back, there are sometimes mistakes made in crucial moments that require starting again- it truly reminds me daily of the beginners mind mentality. Chop wood, carry water, begin again. Write that song, that book, put the brush to the canvas, your lips to the reed, or your head to the pillow to find that inspiration. Find your fire- no one can take it from you. Honor the source. ❤️
